As you know from this thread, Johnny didn’t get the job so he’ll be leaving CA for greener valleys in WA.

Seems more like planning a wake (does anyone have a coffin they would be willing to donate? :wink: ) but we must do something to send him off with good wishes.

Let’s meet at Ye Olde Kings Head on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 4:00 pm.

I don’t know Johnny (Well, maybe I do) and I live in Seattle, so I can’t make it, but seeing Ye Olde King’s Head site made me smile. My son was a regular there. I learned to play darts there.

We’re in, too! It’s already calendared. We wouldn’t miss it for the world (though we’re very sad about the reason for the gathering :frowning: )

Since we’re in the early planning stages I’ll say a date change is ok by me. But, Johnny’s schedule looked pretty full so it’s up to him…

Hm. Dates are a bit tough. Melin is out of town on the 8th, so she wouldn’t be able to make it then. On the 22nd I may well be on the road north! How about Friday the 15th?

Thanks for the offer, Rick. I’ll need to bring my Cherokee back down with me though, so I can haul up the next load. (I figure I have two trailer loads, plus I’ll need to get the motorcycles up.)
