Referring to the OP, I’m really not too surprised by your story. I think that many people who have strong desires that run counter to whatever beliefs they’re being taught will often wrap themselves up the predominant morals of their surrounding environment.
Think of all the priests that are being accused of sexually abusing minors. I find it difficult to believe that joining the priesthood made them that way; they had to be that way going in, so why would so many people with such tendencies appear in one occupation?
I’m actually more surprised when I hear about someone who’s a known hell raiser finding God. Well, a little surprised, there’s usually a charismatic Christian in the wings who’s managed to get their ear. Not a denunciation of religion, even though I’m an agnostic I still have a lot of respect for religion.
Yeah, she may be cute, but as you noted she really isn’t the type you would expect to be the porno webmistress. I think that is why it is so funny, it’s just so not her.
I went to high school with the gentlemen whose story is told at this link, and whose unmasking and firing led to quite the firestorm of gossip in sleepy Falls Church.
He was a sophomore when I was a senior, so I didn’t know him all that well… but certainly the news was a bit of a surprise.
Long ago, before the internet, in the olden days, I met a girl I had known in high school.
She was coming out of a strip joint, still wearing spangles, and net hose, and various accoutrements of the trade. I was in filthy rags, with a six month growth of hair and beard.
She had been an honor student, and I the debate team captain, both of us well liked and admired in our school days. Now she was a stripper, and I was a street bum.
You just never know, now do you?

I’ve actually come across (sorry-couldn’t resist the pun) a nude picture of an ex-girlfriend on the internet. I could tell it was taken prior to us dating since one of the two tatoos I knew her to have was not present. Of course I still have the picture. I just can’t let it go!
So I’ll tell you a story. Once I came across a series of lesbian photos featuring a girl who looked not just similar to my sister but exactly like my sister. I mean EXACTLY like her. So I can’t look because they look the same. But is it her? It can’t be her but there’s that niggling thought in the back of my mind. It’s not her but holy crap it looks just like her. It’s not her but DEAR GOD WHY DID I HAVE TO FIND THESE?!?! My sister has one very recognizable feature so I stealed myself and went to make sure. Only in not one of those pics was that area visible, grrrr. WHY!?!?!?! I know it’s not her but I’d like proof, but I will NEVER ask her about it. Never. double shudder
As of yet I have no idea how to deal with it other then ignore that it ever happened.
What call. NOTHING HAPPENED!! puts fingers in ears lalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
Anyhoo, I can’t. Sorry the pics are behind a pay for view service and I ain’t ciculating pics of my sis. I’m sure you understand. “Hey sis, mind if I take some pics of you? Would you mind wearing this bikini? No it’s not for me, it’s for people on the internet.”
Or someone can send you whatever link s/he wants to via e-mail. E-mail - it’s a wonderful invention.
Regarding the OP - even if I saw a picture on a porn site that looked like someone I knew, I would want to make sure that it wasn’t a case of mistaken identity before I confronted that person face-to-face or mentioned it to any of the people who know that person IRL. Assuming of course that my acquaintance/friend IRL would be embarassed by such a revelation.
The site boasts a chat with the model/webmistress, one of my friends was chatting with her when he asked her if she was from the Levittown area and if her real name was (I’m not giving you her real name) and he was banned from her fan club and her chat immediately. However, I have another friend who has her email addy that is not the addy listed on the site. She’s trying to contact her to see what’s going on in her life.
I, however, along with a lot of other people, are certain that it is her. She has a very distinctive hairline, a small sorta widow’s peak that isn’t exactly centered, and smile. Everybody who has known her or has access to her yearbook picture swears that it is her. Which just makes it even more weird.
Well, with the possible exception of Osiris (who, for some unknown reason, is rocking in the corner with his fingers in his ears), I have you all beat in terms of “OMFG, is that her?” My ex-GF, you see, is both a stripper and a porn star (or a porn actress - I never was quite sure at what point one becomes a “star”). It’s definitely her (birthmark on her, um, left shoulder, IIRC) and she apparently has at least 3 or 4 titles to her credit. I don’t really know what to think about it - I talked to her once after she had done the first one (I think) and she seemed fine with it, wasn’t hooked on drugs or alcohol, and had boatloads of cash stored away to boot - but it was shocking as hell at first…
And, no, to the best of my knowledge, she has no online presence and AFAIK, her videos are only available in Hawaii. Too bad, 'cause she’s really hot.
Huh. Apparently I’m not that broken up about it after all. Um, go me?
