I understand the need for this bit of nonsense, I really do. It’s easier to try to handwave something away with fiction that debunk it based on facts. But the fact is that I’m only ever-so-mean to people who are stupid, wilfully ignorant and/or dishonest, and I even go out of my way to be patient with some people who are stupid. You can check my initial interactions with Damuri, for example, where I did my best to educate him on the relevant facts before his willful ignorance and disingenuous distortions earned him an adversarial stance.
