I have known many women with very flat chests. They have nipples, but appear to have no breasts. The chest is completely flat. Mainly I encountered this in Japan.
I am not being mean.
The women were always apologizing to me. I did not complain. I said they were sexy and beautiful. They were.
What is the correct way to describe this ? Should I say flat-chested, or small breasted or no breasted?
Is this an okay topic for posting or just …
Bosom deficient?
What’s wrong with flat chested? If the person is bothered by that, I would imagine it is because they would rather it “not be mentioned” and not because of the phrase you used.
Of course if you say, “Well, I guess there go booby samwhiches…” that may not come off so well.
I have often heard people say ‘Flat-chested’, but they are usually exaggerating. They really mean “She has really small breasts”.
I am talking about absolutely no breasts. Could this be considered a medical problem ?
You’re… y’know… sure they’re women?
I know. Beautiful girls. Very feminine. Quite a few had kids and pregnancy scars. I know (in the biblical sense) they are women.
Go to Asia. Meet some Asian women. Not that all of them are. But you will find some. Asian women have a very wide variation in body shape.
Fair enough… I was just half-expecting your next question to be ‘…and also, why will they only do anal sex?..’ or '…and also, why do they always insist on turning out the light?..
Pai-nai.
I know you meant no harm, Mange; but jokes like this may be why so many petite women are self-conscious about their size.
A French friend once told me that the French expression translates literally as “Flat as a Bread Board”. Equivalent, I guess, to our “Flat as a pancake,” although that’s not used exclusively for chests, which I gather the GFrench expression is.
Yikes! I certainly didn’t mean to contribute to the problem. If it helps (and I feel like a dog for backpedalling, but I am sincere in this), I happen to be find the leaner frame insanely attractive.
I really can be an ignorant brute at times. Sorry.
There is a girl I know online who has Turner Syndrome, and though I haven’t seen her, in my understanding she does indeed have no breasts, and yes due to a medical problem. The term used in the Wikipedia article is “Shield Chested”, but I imagine that that is referring to the specific condition of Turner’s.
But I think that the word is indeed “flat chested.” And I fear that that does refer to anything particularly slight, but it might be the best English has (without pulling out something with six syllables.) Admittedly, I only say that on my assumption that I have a good enough vocabulary to make any words I don’t know probably safely out of the range of general conversation. But so it goes.
You know, I first read that third line as saying, “I am not being a man.”
Pick up a biology book. Barring any rare medical condition, all women have pectoral muscles and mammary glands. In other words, they have breasts.
I’d suggest the best approach to referring to them is not to go out of your way to do it all! Ladies, if you met a guy with a small willie, and you did not want to offend, would you make no special mention of it, thereby accepting it as unremarkable… or point to it and say, I’ve got to find some why of kindly describing something that small?
C’mon. Compliment her eyes. Her hair. Don’t jump into the tar pit and start sputtering out euphemisms for small breasts. If she asks you specifically, call them just that, “small breasts”, and say that you love them that way.
Bad class. Recess is cancelled for today.
I what context is it necessary to refer to a womans breast size?
If your talking to her personaly, just tell her she’s beautifull period. No need to make reference to her size.
It’s funny. I once knew a Black girl who worked as a stripper. She used to tell me you’d be amazed at the number of (White) people who would tell her: " You’re a beautifull black girl." Which to her translates to: “You’re beautifull FOR a black girl.”
I know this probably wasn’t their intent but that’s how it comes accross. It’s probably comming accross the same way if you’re (the OP) doing this too.
I never mind at all if the lady has small boobicles. They aren’t any less of a woman if they are small to me, anyway. It seems almost grotestque if they are overly big.
Just a thought from a man that appreciates the feminine form.
Um. I just like titties.
That is all.
