Flex Fit ball caps? Whats the deal?

I always hated the fucking hates with the plastic snaps in the back because they always broke or wore out. Once I found FlexFit caps I was in heaven…for about 2 months.

These things are comfortable, well fitting, and come in many COOL styles. The only problem is that the goddamn things strech out like cheap underwear after only a few months!! I do not have a huge head and the caps fit perfect when I first get them. But I have been thru 3 of them in less than a year because they get all streched out and the elastic doesn’t hold the hat on my head anymore. It looks like I am wearing a fucking umbrella on my head because the hat looks so damn huge when it stretches out that I cannot wear them anymore.

These things cost like 25 fucking dollars, they should last longer than this!!!

(No, my head is NOT too big for the hat you fucking savage dopers)

I say Fuck it

< snicker >

For that price, why don’t you buy a fitted cap?

I have one, 100% authentic - just like the real ones used by the ballplayers. Logo of my beloved Pirates, sized to fit my noggin. No stretching, no elastic failure. No elastic.

Only way to go.

Complete agreement, with the note that authentic MLB caps run about $35-40. Minor leagues go for less, though.

go to a REAL paint store and buy a painter’s cap - last forever (or, at least until they get so dirty I throw them out)

You mean other teams cost more than the Pirates? I don’t know what to think…

On the one hand, I’m big on a free market, but this means the Pirates are relatively…unpopular.

That’s okay. We get a championship every couple of decades or so…unlike some teams I could name.

So, cheap hats and the odd championship are what people who aren’t Cub fans get?

$35-40 for a hat? US dollars? Geez, I don’t think they even cost that much at big league ballparks. Go to your local HatWorld or Lids, I’m sure they’re between $20 and $25.

Actually, that’s exactly where I bought my two Braves caps, as it was the only place I could find them in size 8. Granted, I hadn’t looked extensively. It was more of a browse, find, try on, freak out, buy immediately sort of thing.

Many sizes and all teams available.

After you buy the cap, you might want to check out the other stuff, especially since Mazeroski made it this past year.
