Pssht. I had to get up at 5:30 to get to work this morning. And that was after a night of near-insomnia which resulted in me sleeping on the hammock again so I could relax and try to meditate myself to sleep. Stupid head trying to drag up worries in the middle of the night.
I took a pointless drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway after work today to relax and get away from it all. It worked, I am now chill again. Got some spectacular photos too.
Definitely a lazy day. I knitted. And I just now finished emptying the dishwasher. And we put flea stuff on the critters. It’s been a good lazy day.
Daughter got to her “summer camp” at long last. She called me enroute to inform me that there are mountains in western Virginia. Guess it’s a good thing she’s teaching science and not geography. 
**FCD **starts his new job tomorrow. I sure hope it’s as good as he’s expecting. His last job started off great, then spiralled into a suck hole. We shall see, I guess.
Oh, and my weekend ended with a slice of cheesecake. That almost makes up for having to go to work tomorrow…
Dindin was a peanut butter sammich, a glass of milk and watermelon. Protein, calcium, fruit… a balanced meal!
I will, probably, possibly, maybe, who knows, put up the new MMP shortly.
