What’s been going on these past few days? The slimy bastard at Elizabeth’s workplace stalked her, then tried to assault her, but Anthony (I think that’s his name) punched him out, and now he’s asking Elizabeth to wait for him while he gets a divorce from Therese?

Here’s how I see it going down …
Elizabeth goes all weird and doesn’t want anything to do with Anthony and refuses to press charges against Stalker. Besides, by the time this little thread plays out, she’s going to leave back North to her school.
So, Stalker guy follows her north, where the natives go, er, Native on his ass and nothing is ever heard from him again. 
Meanwhile, Anthony goes insane and does in Therese in a horrible murder-suicide rampage.
Ummm. Or not.

Gotta admit. My first instinct today is that Anthony’s completely blown his cool. He’s idealizing Liz because his marriage sucks so badly. That’s trouble with a capital T.
I’m looking forward to the murder-suicide rampage, but only if he takes out Michael’s mother-in-law.
I am mildly proud of myself for seeing this come from a mile away. We all knew that something would happen in the whole Liz-Anthony situation. As soon as Howard started stalking Liz I said to myself "He’s gonna attack her and Anthony will save the day. Then he’ll realize he loves Liz. What I also see happening that hasn’t yet is that the helicopter pilot will show up. Probably after Liz plays dumb about what Anthony “really means” and if he is “really serious.”
For a brief moment I thought the author might let Liz be raped. It would be a pretty brave move to do something like that.
I don’t know why I care. I’ve been invested in these characters since I was a little kid. I still remember when Liz spoke in baby talk. I think Anthony is a putz. He has no ambition, that awful moustache. And the lady who writes that strip draws men poorly. Ah well.
Anthony should grab his wife by the ankles and beat Michael’s MIL to death with her body.
If I were Liz, I would listen to what Anthony has to say and think “Wow, this guy is messed up!”
I would hope that Liz wouldn’t be caught up in the hero aspects of Anthony. He’s got problems.
