Eh. Jeph has been dangling the prospect of a Marten/Faye relationship in front of our faces for a long time now. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Nevermind hottest (for now), Faye and Penelope are the ones I would date. (For completely different reasons, obviously.)
I like the current karaoke slug-fest, with Faye and Sven all mocking each other in song. This can only end up in bed. Eventually. 
ETA: I have no idea who the hell Jay Z is.
Well, yeah, I do have google. But I didn’t know as I read the comic who Jay Z was. Which is my own shortcoming. It is distressing how easily disconnected from pop culture us old farts can be. 
“Karaoke Wars” is the best comic since the one where Hannelore touched the men’s room toilet and her mom gave Marten lots of money.
As squeegee said, this can only end in bed. Or a fistfight. It’s tough to tell with Faye sometimes.
I think I’m going to make myself feel better by assuming that Faye’s fistfights are allegories for all the crazy sex she’s “really” having.
I see Marten has actually updated his blog a couple of times since the one-off jokes in strips #465 and 466.

Can I hijack long enough to ask for some other well drawn web comic suggestions. I have been a User Friendly devotee for years. I was reading GPF before it got really weird and then effectively shut down.

Girls with slingshots. I’ve liked this one better in the past than where it is now. Start from strip #1 and read forward, and you can see it evolving. I think it hit its peak of fulfilling weirdness with Jamie’s vacation in Miami and is lately a little too normal and missing the quirky charm. YMMV
Sinfest is awesome.
PvP is great, especially if you like User Friendly, which I think has similar humor. The archive is huge, Kurtz has been drawing this strip just about forever.

Thanks, but I am barely a D&D fan. I play a little for fun the way others have Friday night poker games. I don’t buy any new stuff and still use the 1st edition books. The geek humor in OotS appears wasted on me.

Now that is really funny. It was written for me, an older Role Player, Lord of the Rings fanatic, ref’ing a Middle Earth base game, that also happens to be a programmer. I look forward to finishing it up later.
