Actually, it’s none of the above.
I randomly managed to think of it myself. It’s “Caught in the Sun” by Course of Nature. You can listen to the song for yourself and see how accurate my vague recollections were and probably not as much as I’d like.

The only think I can think of is Smash Mouth’s Walkin’ on the Sun, but that was released in 1997.
