The little flodnaks and I (daddy’s coming later) will be descending on Lancaster County, PA, at the end of the month, staying through mid-July.

Do you have more specific dates? I leave for parts south on the 29th, so I’ll be available before then but not after.
I’m arriving on the 27th. Unfortunately the 29th is probably just about the time we’ll be over jetlag

Coolness. We should all hang out at the renaissance fair when it opens. That place is the shit.
I’ll be out of the country during the last half of June, but when I get back, I’ll see what’s planned, and try to make it up there.
Ummmmmmmm… I’d love to suggest some plans. Problem is, I’m not sure what sort of stuff normally goes on at a Dopefest. Would the Ren Fair be something folks would be interested in? Or maybe going to Hershey and doing ZooAmerica (I’ve never been there in spite of growing up in Lancaster… how embarrassing) and seeing if Chocolate World is as tacky as it used to be? Something in Strasburg maybe?
Am I starting to sound desperate for ideas? 
A RenFaire is always a good thing. As a matter of fact, two are in the works right now. (One out on the west coast, and one over here in NY) The one here is August 3rd. Don’t know how that would affect any plans.
And, while I’ve never done it, I think something like Hershey or ZooAmerica would be cool… or any other amusement sounding thing. And if it’s got rollercoasters, maybe I can talk someone into going on one or two with me! 
Honestly, though, a DopeFest can be whatever you want it to be, as long as it has Dopers. 
(And I’ll do my darnedest to get wherever you’re planning on having this thing, but I can’t make any promises until I know dates and what my transportation is going to look like.)
Anything, from sitting around a kitchen table, to running a tour through a museum, can be a Dope Fest, if you’ve got Dopers!
Strasburg actually sounds pretty cool. Check out the old trains, and such.
