While I hope, for the sake of our common humanity, that Cheney pulls through this crisis, that does not reflect a view on my part that he is worth being respected. He is a disgusting man, a disgusting politician, a disgusting human being.

Who is the face of the board’s right? I’d say Bricker is pretty representative of conservatives that I know personally. What did he say when Kennedy died? I recall nothing disrespectful of the event.

Senator Kennedy will be missed. I disagreed with the vast majority of his positions, but never doubted his commitment to better the world. We disagreed on the best way to do that, but he devoted his life to public service in the truest sense of the word. He was, indeed, the Lion of the Senate, and we are richer for having him here and poorer for his passing.
