There was some damage to the statue of the American Bison located in the Colorado Rockies. The attacker could not be dissuaded, and kept up his assault for eight hours. The incident even caused a traffic situation - gawkers!
The damage consisted of:
- The loss of about two inches from the left horn.
- Hoof scratches on the side of the Bison.
- Some chips in the right rear hoof.
- Blood stains behind the Bison.
The statue was also moved eight inches forward. Attempts to center
the statue on the pedestal were made but to no avail.

Fox News has never apologized. And never will.

Just to remind you of what you asked for, it was whether Fox News issued an “apology or public acknowledgement”. Did you intend something other than the ordinary meaning of “or”?

The persons who were responsible for sacking the ones who were to have been sacked have, in fact, not been sacked.
My personal favorite FOX “mislabelling” moment was when they invented a whole new position in Congress for the fallen Dennis Hastert.
I guess by now I shouldn’t be surprised that you find Fox News’s parenthetical “(D)” more egregious than CNN’s complete fabrication of a non-story, responsibility for which went all the way up to Ted Turner. So I won’t be.

And I shouldn’t be surprised when you try to shoehorn some unrelated instance of media bias into a thread about mislabeled chirons. This thread is not for dueling media biases; if it were, we would bury your paltry CNN cites under a blizzard of Faux News transgressions. All Headline News seems to think McCain is a “Democratic hopeful”.
