It’s Liz Trotta in a discussion of Hillary’s gaffe regarding RFK’s assassination. She says: “and now we have what … uh … some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama … uh … um … Obama … well, both if we could.”
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a U.S. newscast where a reporter has actually come out in favor of assassinating an American political leader.
It’s the kind of “joke” that if someone made it about McCain, they would be all over it like flies on shit. Fucking morons. The Osama – oops! has been done on that station so much they should lose the legal right to call themselves a news station and just call themselves Fox Propoganda.
" We at Fox News are proud to announce our new Worldwide Director of News, Liz Trotta. Her on-air work exemplifies all that Fox News stands for in terms of content and position.
We are confident that her particular brand of news delivery will become the Gold Standard the planet over. "
Joke or not, “jokes” and comments about killing or assaulting powerful Democrats have popped up disturbingly often from the right. Like the “Where’s Lee Harvey Oswald When We Need Him” bumper stickers during the Clinton years and that Congressman whose name escapes me who hinted that Clinton would be killed if he came to his state.
uh, I think you’ve got it wrong… it’ wasn’t Fox news advocating the assassination of Obama… it was Hillary. Foxnews was just calling her on her motives.
