Rosie, that was your last nerve, and now the dentist is on it.
LOL
Speaking of dentists, Culinary Boy just went to get his permanent bridge put in. Ow is anticipated.
Gonna try this quick reply thingy just to see.
I, too, am full of grrrrr right now. Turns out that instead of Brunch Sunday tomorrow it’s supposed to be a reception with finger foods bein’ as it is the official 50th anniversary of the founding of St. Patrick’s. This was not mentioned in any announcements leadin’ up to this, even last Sunday. I get a call askin’ me to bring cheese thingies. I had made a big bowl of N.O.T. sallit. Hence the grrrrr. I ain’t makin’ cheese thingies. Ok, actually, I do have some made but I made them for munchies for tomorrow afternoon and Monday around the pool. I also made 'em extra spicy cause that’s how we like 'em. They are not what I’d make to take to a reception.
Ok, grrr over.
db this is probably too late, but I say go to the party. It’s a holiday weekend. Lookin’ at scantily clad men is a good thing.
ETA: I see one does have to check show your signature. Live and learn!
Anbesol has arrived, courtesy WBT. Aaaahhh.
eta - swampy, you can’t address chaoticbear as db because that’s one of canineservant’s nicks. Confusion will ensue.
Well, patient guy is going to get the cabinets if he wants them. The folks from yesterday who were going to call this morning have not yet called and it’s 5:30. Too bad so sad.
We drove over to a pet store in Calvert County that was supposed to have corals and saltwater fish. Well, they had a few… very few. Lots of freshwater fish and a really cool leopard gecko, but hardly any saltwater stuff. Oh well. It was a nice ride and we had a late lunch/early supper. I will soon assume the knit and chill position for the evening. Tomorrow, we’ll be tearing up the basement flooring - good times!
Anyway, I’m turning this machine off now - kisses!!!
Rosie I live for chaos and confusion!
Ok, I am officially over myself and have butter and cheese softenin’ to make another batch of cheese things. What? Like y’all didn’t think I would! I’m too nice dammit!
I am purposefully not lookin’ at it cause we all know a watched bowl of cheese and butter never softens.
Sorry about the grrrrrrs, FCM and swampy.
Go Bobbio! on the running.
Nice pics, wiki.
I have been quite vegetative today. Played games online, surfed, took a nap. Also, I put away some clothes and got some laundry together. Went to Pepperidge Farms store and bought lots and lots of bread for $20 and change. They were having a 20% off sale, so we got extra lots. Yay!
Now I’m considering further tidying in my room. Also, some mending. Later, there will be a walk.
We went for a nice walk last night, followed by watching of the fireworks. We found a spot where you could see everything except the really low ones. It was nice.
Also spent a couple of hours at Dave & Busters with one of my work friends. It was fun, but expensive. $23 for a couple of hours of games that would be free if they were online or outside (we shot some baskets).
Off to do something semi-productive.
Hugs.

Oh god, rosie, I hate the dentist so much. And dental pain, which always manages to be worse than anything else in the world.
Didn’t end up going to the pool party, at least not yet. Had a Wiimergency, and had to go buy and unlock a new one. In the process of selling the busted one, putting my total outlay for the day at somewhere around $5, after trading in some useless games. I just don’t know if I would have had the energy to deal with a gaggle of gays today anyway. They have pool parties most Saturdays, I’ll make it to one.
Hope everyone’s having a fun weekend!
Cheese thangs successfully made. Go Me! Forgot to mention we had a very little shower of rain at about four p.m. Rah.
We had a wonderful time at the 1st day of the reunion. Catching up with all my cousins, hanging out by the pool, watching all the kids and babies, lots of beerverages and bourbons. And catered Mexican food, by a real Mexican couple. It was fabulous! Homemade gorditas, and beef and chicken fajitas, and lots of chips and queso and salsa. Yum!
Our room is comfy, and Dad is doing fine in his room. The only thing is, I miss my puppies. there were lots of doggies around the place, though, as well as a herd of deer that we saw when we pulled in.
It’s hot, but tolerable.
I’ll have pictures later…
I did sorta party, I got dragged to a minor league game. I got separated, freaked out, and it took four innings to come back to normal. I hate prednisone.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN ‘Tis 71 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 97 and “isolated” tstorms. IOW Summer in south Jawja. Sounds like hangin’ around le pool will be a good idea this afternoon.
doggio sorry about the freak out. I’ve never been on Prednisone but I hear it’s one weird medication.
Glad y’all are havin’ a good time Rebo. Also glad to know dad is doin’ fine.
So, we have former Priests, a former Deacon (lookin’ forward to seein’ her!) and assorted others to take part in the big doin’s this mornin’ at good ol’ St. Pat’s. Should be entertainin’ at least. I get to sit in a pew and be entertained. Yay for that. I hope there’s some decent “finger food” (I’m sure there will be) as I plan on that bein’ N.O.L.
Ok, Ima go snoop around a bit and get me some more caffiene. I should consider some brekkie type substance as tummy is beginnin’ to get rumbly.
Happy Sunday Y’all!
Scruffy let me sleep till almost 6  so I’m almost feeling rested.
I need to start out asking for good thoughts and stuff for my mom and MIL. Mom was just diagnosed with Lyme disease. I’m hoping she caught it early since that’s the best case scenario - usually antibiotics take care of it in a matter of weeks. But she’s 77, so there’s that worry…
And MIL was in the hospital this week for her heart. Apparently her heart rate would drop to 40, then shoot up over 120. She’d been ignoring it for a while  and I guess it finally scared her enough because she spent the night in the hospital. Sneak preview of what I already know about **FCD **when it comes to ignoring symptoms. Anyway, she’s home again, and she’s 80, so this is not a minor issue.
It’s raining a wee bit, and from the weather radar, it looks like a lot more is on the way for the morning. Yay for rain, boo for timing. Some coworkers are coming over to take our “wood” flooring, and if it’s raining, I can’t have them driving their truck to the basement door, which means we’ll have to go up and down the stairs a gazillion times to load their truck. boo.
Last (in a series) of cabinet guys is coming tomorrow. I sure hope he takes these things after all the emails he’s sent asking about them.
That’s all for now. Off to read the Sunday funnies!
Same rain as Mooooooooom, and I was all ready to go out to play with my squid this morning.
Good vibes for the Lyme disease and ticker problems, BTW.
Play with your squid? Is that what the kids are calling it?
Prayers and good thoughts headed out to MOOOOOOM’s mom and mil. My own mother is 82 and in pretty good health. I cannot begin to say how thankful I am for that and for the fact that sis lives out next to her.
All purtified for deheathenization. Cheese thangs are all placed upon a glass platter with enough plastic wrap on top a hundred mile an hour wind would not disturb 'em.
BBBobbio enough with the TMI!
Laterz!
fcm thoughts and prayers for the parentel units
Short sale it is for us. Paperwork gathering is started. Le sigh.
I am hoping mr ems gets his butt outta bed soon as I want to go for breakfast. Hongry!
Good thoughts and prayers headed out to the FCMMoms.
Sorry about the short sale, mmmmmmmmm. Sounds like a better situation than what your employer was offering, but still.
Squid, Bobbio???
Have watched the men’s Wimbledon final, folded a load of laundry, knit part of a sock, and made soft-ish boiled eggs and hard rolls (frozen) for breakfast. Not in that order.
Off to continue laundry, then do some clean up. I’d like to get some work done in the garden and also take a bike ride, but I suspect it’s going to be a bit too hot to do much of that. Might take a bike ride early tomorrow morning.
Fun times.
Hugs.

All deheathenated and ummm fested. It was festive this mornin’. The music included violin, flute and bagpipes. Yes bagpipes. The postlude was the bagpipes and organ playin’ “Amazing Grace.” It got a little dusty cause my eyes started to water.
So, we’s home and I think a little nappy poo followed by a dip in the pool is in order.
Later Y’all!
