Paid visits to Home Despot & Tar-jay(s) today; got cheap chocolate & some really cool stuff for next Halloween; all on sale. 
I made ti through work. Cane lost. And driving home, some dude turned left in front of me. From 2 lanes over. Glad the brakes work on the truck.

Good morning! We’re looking for middle 70s today and tomorrow - such weird weather!! Then it gets chilly again in time for the weekend. We need to get our mulcher-vac serviced and ready to go - the leaves are accumulating fast.
Apart from that, just another freekin’ day in paradise!

I woke up mad. Not sure why. Must have dreamed something annoying. But I keep reminding myself that I’m on vacation next week, which makes every day this week feel like Friday.

Isn’t it weird when that happens? I woke one day absolutely *furious *at a coworker, and it lingered all day. Granted, she wasn’t one of my favorite people, but there was no logical reason for me to be angry with her. The brain is bizarre…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 83 for the day and cloudy. No rain predicted however. Not a whole lot goin’ on today. I’m stuffded up and have a sore throat. ICK! Definitely a stay in da cave day. Pot roast for dindin with N.O.T. and baby carrots. Baby lima beans and rolls shall complete the meal. We’re havin’ an All Saint’s service tonight at the church house. I may or may not go dependin’ on how I feel.
OK, I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. I need to get the roast in the slow cooker and I’m thinkin’ a nice hot shower will feel good as well. Goin’ back to bed for a while also sounds like a good thing.

It’s foggy outside. It’s 50 degrees now but supposed to go up to 80. I guess Mother Nature is forgetting to take her meds.
I have lots to do today and I should be up getting started instead of sitting here like a lump.
Dog and cat are finally interacting a bit. The dog keeps walking up to and sniffing the cat, the cat is still wary of and perplexed by the dog. I think he still doesn’t understand that the dog is blind, but if the damn squirrels can figure it out, then the cat should be able to too.
Plugging up the squirrel hole seems to be working. They haven’t tried to get back in and we haven’t heard anything more upstairs. I don’t believe they would have given up so easily.
I should work on the health insurance stuff today, and I should call my mother, but I probably won’t. I’m too grumpy already this morning.
**sari **- glad the new kitteh seems to be working out! We’ve always been fortunate that our canines and felines will coexist more or less peacefully. I do wish, tho, that Taz and Higgs would not choose to rassle in the middle of the hallways when I’m trying to traverse…

Good Morning MMP!!! In a good mood because (1) I am finally sleeping in like a retired guy should do, (2) The company that screwed up a delivery actually admitted it and is crediting my card for the full cost and (3) I had raisin bread and Pepsi for breakfast just because I can!
Now I have to face the rest of the day.
He probably believes it to be a Clever Ruse, to Lull him into a False Sense of Security.
I have managed to consume brekkie, put the roast on in the slow cooker, and clean myself. Bein’ as I do feel a bit infirm I say that’s a lot accomplished this mornin’. I am now havin’ a refreshin’ soft drink and believe I shall shortly begin to achieve nappage. I guess right now I feel bleargh as opposed to blurf.
Lunch was acceptable - I’m impressed that the bread didn’t get all green while we were away. Must be chock-full of preservatives! YUM!!
Back to work now, alas…
Been up and puttering a bit. Dinner/lunch is going to be some cross between Cajun and Chinese like those really bad Cajun places in the mall food courts offer. I got some dirty rice to start with and am just going to go nuts from there.
A ladies’ sport sock will fit a 3.5 lb Chihuahua. Need I say more? 
swampy, wasn’t All Saints’ yesterday? And All Souls’ today? Or do the Whiskypalians do it differently?
Back to irk. Got the files purged, enrolled for benefits in 2017 (and it’s gone up $100 a month!1!1!). Other than that, it’s a slow day.
