Hey Dopers!

I realize that Electronic music may be very weird, somewhat loud or obscure to many of you.

Its a new(er) genre that is constantly evolving. Some of you may like it right away, most of you might be neutral or have a “meh” attitude towards it but I think it might grow on you. Some of you will hate it. I think its worth discovering.

The following are links that will take you to a site in which I’ve uploaded some of my favorite, and best tunes.

I am very, very picky with my electronic music, so this is not your typical corny song. These are from my personal collection, all bought and payed for, so no illegal activity going on here :).

Some of these songs are “guitar house”, “trance” and “minimal”. They don’t put these songs in just any club, and they aren’t your typical radio songs.

Anyway, try them out (the files are kinda’ large, roughly 15 MB each) and tell me what you think of them, if you like them and want more, all you have to do is tell me right here (on this thread) and I’ll happily upload some more.

If you think they suck, well, tell me as well.

    Most accesible one IMHO. (Skip to minute 1:50 to get the good stuff going)

    This one is a just a little bit “louder” than the other ones, but it is quite cool.

Haven’t had a chance to listen yet, as it’s about to storm so I’ll be losing power shortly. But I did want to take a quick minute to say thanks for sharing. I’m always on the lookout for new tunes, but for tastes as broad as mine, I tend to get overwhelmed and not know what to check out. So it helps a lot to have someone say “Here, listen to this!” :smiley:

It’s great that you bought the music you’re sharing, Frustrated Wonderer, and we have no problems with you starting threads recommending music for people to (legally) get ahold of, but actually sharing this music without explicit permission from the copyright holder is illegal. Because of that, I’ve removed your links.

If you’d like to start a new thread about Electronic music you think others should try out, go right ahead.
