I mean, strictly speaking, I guess it would depend on why you’re killing the aid workers. If you’re killing them with the purpose of causing members of some target population to die, then yes, it’s genocide. Does the IDF have some other motivation?
Targeting legitimate military targets that share the same space.
This is not the definition of genocide. If it were, then killing a single person due to their membership in a target population would count as a genocide. Every hate crime murder would be a mini genocide. The term loses all meaning if that’s what you use.
…what a fucking disingenuous response to my post. With all due respect: are you just fucking stupid?
From what I quoted earlier in the submission to the International Court of Justice:
The argument that is being made here, and you can see the entire context if you actually take the time to read the submission, is that Israel are deliberately targeting doctors, nurses, journalists, academics, aid workers, along with schools, hospitals, universities, water and sanitation facilities, along with churches and Mosques, cemeteries, archaeological sites.
And the reason for doing this is argued on page 54 in the section titled " Destruction of Palestinian life in Gaza."
To make it crystal clear: I haven’t argued that “killing aid workers is genocide.” That’s the stupidest fucking thing I’ve heard from you out of all the stupid fucking things you have said.
I’ve argued that Israel are committing genocide in Gaza, and I’ve presented evidence that Israel are committing genocide in Gaza, and one of the key elements of the case against Israel is the Destruction of Palestinian life in Gaza, which includes things like the destruction of places of worship and the targeted killings of academics, journalists, healthcare and aid workers.
…I made it about the Palestinians that are being slaughtered by Israel in Gaza.
That apparently you don’t give a fuck about. Because you are more interested in winning a debate on the internet than anything else.
Do you really need the Librarian to answer the question for you? Because I think I’ve done an adequate job of answering. We don’t actually need to quibble about the definition of genocide any more, if you think I’ve made the case. Do you want more clarification? Or are you happy to accept my answer?
You asked ME that question. Directly. There is no other surrounding context. And I was the person who originally talked about aid workers in the context in the first place.
