You conservatives might want to be careful with the Bush is intelligent meme. That would mean that he did the following things on purpose:
Waited several days before sending in Federal help for Katrina.
Started a war with Iraq based on false pretense that they were involved with 9/11.
Nominated Harriet Myers to the SC.
Waterboarded prisoners despite knowing it was torture and against US law.
Her daughter was not a hypocrite. She went off and got her nut off. When did any one say she was espousing no sex. It was her mother who pretended to have a connection with god who did not want kids to have sex. Her daughter was pounding away in back seats while mother pretended to have a connection to a god that hated her having sex. Typical religious people with no grasp of reality.
Looks like my prediction was right on. Letterman has officially apologized to Sarah Palin.
And I’m sure it won’t matter to most of the liberal idiots in this thread, but Letterman gets exactly what I’ve been arguing all along:

He blinked a long time ago. it was not enough. fake outrage can not be easily quieted.

Realizing that you are afflicted with Palin Derangement Syndrome is the first step toward defeating it. Letterman understands this now. He probably spent the weekend thinking, ‘Wow. Am I so consumed with irrational hatred that I’m now reduced to calling people ‘slutty’ and insulting their daughters?’ That and the fact that CBS lost at least one sponsor (Hilton Hotels! How’s that for irony!) resulted in Dave finally stepping up and doing the right thing.
By the way, I think the classiest move now for Governor Palin would be to accept his apology unconditionally and appear, sooner rather than later, on his show.
