Not quite - it began with Dio claiming that Washington had no political experience before becoming President, a fact easily disproved. And since Washington first held an appointed office as a teenager, I think the “whole life” thing is easily sustained, though in retrospect I would change that phrasing to say that Washington was political his entire life, not that his entire life was political.

16 years as a politician in the lower house of the state legislature (at a time when there was no national legislature) does not, in my opinion, qualify as next to no political experience.

What problem? I didn’t say anything about Palin vis a vis Obama, at least in this thread. I was merely correcting an obvious factual error, and frankly the maker of that error has a bad habit of not checking these simple facts beforehand and then not admitting that he was wrong.
