I for one think humans are better than (the rest of) animals. That we are somehow special. And since natural evolution has likely stopped for humans and our husbandry animals, also the ultimate evolutionary product. What has time spend got to do with anything? You come back when a shark has written the equivalent of Hamlet of composed the ninth symphony. When people say, “I’m anti–P.C.,” they are really saying they are pro-bigotry, that they want to go back to the days when black people knew their place, when women were housewives, and gay people stayed in the closet with the door locked. They are saying that they want to be free to denigrate entire groups of people for their ethnicity/faith/sexual orientation without criticism in return. (Not that this necessarily refers to the OP, I’m just sayin’.)
Now to the OP. While, in very, very broad terms, I agree that the culture of sensitivity has become a nuisance, the OP’s polar reversal, that there are no reasons for sensitivity, is equally BS. For example, the OP says, “Political Homosexuals. Shut up! I support Gay rights. I get it. BORING, NEXT!” While I’m gratified that we have the OP’s support, the question of gay rights in this country remains unsettled. Gay marriage is still illegal, gay people who come out of the closet can fired for revealing their orientation, and the ruling party of this country makes political capital by demonizing gay people as something less than human. So, at least IMO, gay rights are not yet boring. I look forward to the day when this is so.
Is there a word for when you do this and kind of derail your own post? If not, why not?

I agree with a lot of what you said. I guess the only problem is that when you’re listing them in a rant, it’s hard to get your full point across. They’re all separate mini-rants under the Anti-PC heading.
I’m not worried for a second about the spotted owls. When you’re taking a crap in the treeless woods, with your jeans around your ankles, I’m willing to bet you’d have a hard time grabbing an owl from the sky to wipe yourself with. Life is good.

In fact, I see PC as a reversed bigotry, like saying someone is “differently abled”, it´s like one wouldn´t touch the persons issues with a 10 foot stick; or that thing some months ago of people lobbying to change the computer terms Slave/Master drives , which assumes that the terms are related to slavery, so then who´s the bigot there?. I´m not by any means a bigot in any sense of the word, but PC IMO it´s like putting a glove to handshake someone, one says is to protect the other person, the other person will probably take it as being treated like a someone undesirable.
