The Right would like their tired lie about foreign aid back if you don’t mind.
…Babale is a genocide apologist who has accused me of everything from being an anti-Semite to a Hamas propagandist. We can now add “foreign provocateur” to that long, esteemed list.
And Babale will no longer engage me on matters of substance on Gaza. Because he can’t. Because I deal simply in facts. All he’s got are insults.
I’m becoming increasingly convinced that you aren’t just trolling me but you are one of the people that actually support the genocide. I’m sorry I make you so angry. But these random potshots you keep posting of very little substance are becoming tiresome. Can you at least make an effort and write more than just a single sentence. Because most of the time, devoid of any other context, I don’t know what the fuck you are talking about.
Of course you don’t, you don’t live here and do not seem to be aware that the Right has, for all of my life, used “Imagine if those billions instead went to the American people. Wouldn’t they be better off?” as their excuse for why we can’t have anything nice. Maybe you didn’t notice that we were all promised a DOGE check in exchange for destroying USAID, a check that will never come.
Also, not my fault that I can say in one sentence what you need a fucking wall of text to say.
…but it’s true, right?
The billions funding the genocide is a domestic policy issue, is it not?
And it wouldn’t be the Republicans that would be handing out Gaza checks. It would be the Democrats. Or don’t you trust them at their word?
You didn’t say anything. And now with more context: I now understand that your point was entirely bullshit.
You are indeed both.
…are you now pretending to be an American? Do you love the warm water ports of your home oblast of California?
You don’t have substance, you just have manipulative propaganda bullshit like this:
Oh no, Americans cheered for the Super Bowl! How dare they!
Meanwhile I saw the lifeless body of Shani Louk, stripped of her clothing as well as her dignity before being murdered, her broken body paraded in the back of a pickup truck while in Gaza they cheered for the murder and rape of Shani Louk.
And at the same time, “activists” just like you were cheering on Hamas at “pro Palestine” protests across the United States on October 8, when Hamas terrorists were still rampaging inside Israel.
https://www.politico.com/news/2023/10/08/nyc-palestine-rally-democrats-israel-00120533
So if you’re disgusted by Americans daring to cheer for the Superbowl while a war is going on, you can imagine my disgust for fuckers like yourself, who cheer for Hamas terrorists themselves.
Gaza Checks? What the fuck are you talking about and how many times were you dropped on your head as an infant?
In one sentence, tell me what my point was?
…that you think “Imagine if those billions instead went to the American people” is just MAGA propaganda and not also a legitimate domestic policy issue.
I think it can be both.
No, go back, reread it, and note that MAGA wasn’t the point.
…a “foreign provocateur” is an individual from another country accused of intentionally inciting unrest, directing political violence, or destabilising a host nation."
That isn’t what I am. It’s a laughable accusation. I’m just a rando poster on a message board. I’ve been here for decades. No, I’m not American, nor can I vote in the US elections. I’ve made no secret of that; with a bit of digging, you can find out exactly who I am.
While they funded and supported a genocide.
And I condemn her murder. It was a disgusting atrocity. It was evil. Those responsible and those cheering them on should be held to account.
It isn’t very hard to be unequivocal in condemning evil acts.
Because they knew genocide was coming.
And they were right.
I don’t cheer them. I condemn them. They are evil motherfuckers and most of them are dead and I don’t mourn their passing.
…more cryptic nonsense LOL.
Anyways, the thing I was going to post was that I am seeing a lot of people saying true things, but then seeming to think they preclude other true things said by others. The issues here are primarily about priority, not about truth.
And I think perhaps the desire to attack each other is getting in the way of this. Yeah, it’s the pit. People can do whatever they want. I’m not telling anyone what to do. But I feel like maybe it would be useful to notice what things are actually in contradiction.
Dunno how helpful this will be, but this idea just jumped out at me.
The Nazis lost, that’s why. This time, everyone else will be dead and the records all destroyed or re-written.
While there is something to be said for brevity, your single sentence posts are nearly always too brief and rely on assumptions that people think the same way you do.
Banquet_Bear’s post length makes it much easier to know where he is coming from. I may disagree with him at times, but I always understand his train of logic. His assumptions are few—mostly that people actually read what he says.
I still don’t know the underlying point you were making. Yes, BB happened to use some argument that Republicans often say. Hitler banned smoking. Does that mean that all arguments for banning smoking are wrong?
It is becoming increasingly clear that you don’t actually understand what people are talking about, and try to compensate by being the biggest dick.
BB’s point was quite clear, if you’d just read the rest of the exchange. “Gaza checks” was his shorthand for the idea that the Gazan war is in fact a domestic issue, because instead of funding Israel to help it attack Gaza, the government could spend that money to help Americans.
You also don’t seem to know what “anarchist” means, as supporting a communal style of government without designated leaders has nothing to do with pointing out that a more fascist government has never taken over from one that tolerates fascists.
You honestly can’t tell how “just follow the law” is equivocation when you are asked whether you support trans rights. It clearly means “I’ll just do what the law says, if they support trans rights, great. IF they don’t, I won’t.”
You are surprised by the most basic arguments. You seem chronically unaware of anything beyond your own political bubble. I have not seen you make a useful contribution to any political talk in ages.
You seem to think you know it all, that you are the smartest person in the room and everyone else is stupid and biased and all that.
But you really need to turn your criticisms inward, and get the plank out of your own eye.
Until then, could I ask people to just ignore him? His provocative posts are about getting attention and hurting the people he dislikes.

That’s precisely what you and your anti-electoral “both sides bad” ilk are doing when you peddle these bullshit arguments that help no one but Trump. You’re intentionally destabilizing the United States because you’re an accelerationist piece of America Bad campist shit.
Hey, how’s the war going? Still trusting Trump and Hegseth to get it done? Still in favor of the war we started with no mission, no plan, and clowns in charge? And with Iran now in a much, much stronger position than they were before?
…so that would be everyone then.
If I’ve ever directed political violence towards anyone, feel free to report me. But you won’t be able to because that never happened.
And I condemn Hamas for the atrocities they committed on October the 7th. Do you condemn the atrocities the IDF committed on 23 March 2025?
Yeah, I should just do that. I did have him blocked. It expired today. I’ve put it back on. So I suppose I’ll never get the answer to my question.
And now you’ll proceed to demonstrate that you have no idea what anyone else is talking about, great.
You have a reputation for being dense, but this is a bit much, even for you.
Yes, I understood what he meant. But if you read the rest of the exchange, you’d see he asks:
And that’s where Banquet Bear is being moronic. What “word” should Democrats be trusted on? Where did they say “we want to cut funding to Israel so we can hand out money to Americans”?
It’s more the idea that an anarchist would ask someone “where did this thing happen” when they themselves follow an ideology that has never been successfully implemented anywhere on Earth
You’d have to be pretty fucking stupid to think that’s what Harris meant, given her track record on trans rights, the fact that she wouldn’t even back away from previous incredibly unpopular statements about paying for gender affirming surgery for prisoners, and so on. If the law said “don’t support trans rights”, Harris would oppose that law, as she did when the laws were in fact stacked against trans people. Which checks out - everyone who believes that Harris is anti-trans is in fact extremely fucking stupid.
Oh, trust me, I’m not surprised by the anti-electoral left’s stupidity.
And I haven’t seen you make a useful contribution to anything ever, so that’s pretty faint condemnation coming from you.
Nah, most of us in this forum are in fact American citizens who live here and vote here.
If I’ve ever directed political violence towards anyone, feel free to report me. But you won’t be able to because that never happened.
Of course, I never said you did? Do you know how the word “or” works?
And I condemn Hamas for the atrocities they committed on October the 7th.
No, you don’t. You say “I condemn” like it’s a talisman that protects you from criticism before talking about nothing but how evil Israel and the IDF are. You aren’t fooling anyone. You don’t condemn October 7th; you just wish it was more effective.
Do you condemn the atrocities the IDF committed on 23 March 2025?
I condemn the way Hamas operates out of civilian infrastructure, a fact that you still deny - which is hilarious because even Hamas doesn’t deny that they do this.
