I am finding my nap theory more and more compelling.
In general, I prefer not being able to grate cheese on someone’s ribs. I doubt I’d scream obscenities about it safely away from that person, though, as it’d probably come in handy now and then.

Phlip, you’re an angry little boy, aren’t you? And congratulations on being able to flame strangers on a message board – flame incoherently and with no regard to sentence structure or grammar, true, but flame nonetheless. I say congratulations, because it’s got to be hard to operate a computer when you’re on the intellectual (and emotional, come to think of it) level of the stuff I scraped off the bottom of the garbage can this morning.
And in regards to your last post, I don’t care if you think she’s ugly or not. I really don’t. I’m curious as to why it arouses such ire in you. The only possible reason I can think of is that flaming a person because of something she can’t change (i.e., her looks) gives you a sense of power you don’t otherwise feel in your pointless little life. To each their own, I guess.
Anyhow, I’m done feeding the troll here… Phlip, I’m done with you on this thread, and definitely look forward to your next Pit rant – I’m sure it will live up to the standards of trollishness and shit-stirring that we’ve come to expect from your posts.
I definitely agree. Stoid may be right that in general thinness is considered more attractive than fatness, and so skinny people perhaps suffer less often on the “attractometer.” But nobody’s feelings work that way. Being part of a given group doesn’t have any impact on your self esteem or your perception of insult and hurt. A hurtful comment about your body is just that, no matter if you’re thin or fat. People just think it’s ok to insult thin people because thin people are the minority. Most people in the U.S. are either at or above their ideal weight.
I’m very thin. Always have been and probably always will be. I don’t always like it, but it’s ok with me. If it isn’t ok with anyone else, they can kiss off. Including the opera director that told me to “come back when you gain 30 lbs.”
I think Calista Flockhart is attractive.
Calista Flockhart’s face is attractive, but when you put that cute head on that little body it looks like some kind of alien.
Several time on Ally McBeal the characters mention how Ally is so damn hot. Well, she’s just not, she can go rot. I want Ling. I want that damn nosy Secretary. I want that other lawyer, what’s her name… I wanted Georgia. But she’s gone now, right?
I miss Gil Bellows.
I’m watching Brothers & Sisters, typed “Calista Flockhart is ugly no matter how anorexic she is” (haha) into search and found this entry. Why am I not surprised it’s not just me. How did that boney amphibian creature (haha) get on screen in the first place? What disturbs me most is that she’d come across only half as ugly if she simply embraced the aesthetic catastrophe that she is. But you can tell by her chronically malnourished wannabe-sexy expression that she thinks she’s really got it all.
Nope, sry Flocky, whether fat or thin (yep, you might as well have binged on cookies and dough for all your life), you are and always will be one offensive brute. You’re giving me the freakin creeps.
(I don’t mean to make fun of eating disorder, at all. It’s just very naïve of ppl like amphibian Flocky to think that losing weight would somehow beautify your fundamental skeletal features. Or have you ever seen a lizard go on a diet and then magically transform into a cute bunny? :smack: Dafuq Flocky you haven’t. Sry to break this to you but even a hellish condition like anorexia is for pretty ppl only.)
You joined just to resurrect a 15 year old ZOMBIE thread with that stupid shit? :dubious:
… and it was totally worth it.
As worthy as your reply to the resurrection of a 15yrs old zombie thread.

There are three parts of this that I just don’t think I’ll ever understand.
I’m not asking for an explanation, mind you. These aren’t things I particularly want to understand.

Where as she, 1)has never even heard of you, nor, 2)does she waste a single calorie on wondering what you think of her.
There are three parts of this that I just don’t think I’ll ever understand.
- Why you seem so animated about this. I mean, no one is strapping you down and forcing you to watch Calista Flockhart, are they?
 - Why you felt the need to share your dislike. If you can’t say anything nice, you don’t have to say anything at all.
 - Why you think everyone else has the same standards of beauty that you do.
I’m not asking for an explanation, mind you. These aren’t things I particularly want to understand.
Guys, chill. There is no good explanation anyway. As to 1, I just had a moment. As to 2: dunno, that’s what ppl do on the internet sometimes, share their dislikes. Not that sorry if that bothered you. And lastly: I don’t assume nor expect everyone else to share my aesthetic standards. Happy evening everyone.
Anyone else curious about seeing Flockhart described as amphibian? Is that a thing now? You kids with your crazy slang.

Chimera could have been a bit more diplomatic, but it’s generally considered bad form to revive very old threads unless there is some sort of new information that might be relevant to the current board membership. For one thing, with a thread as old as this one, it’s highly likely that many of the original contributors are no longer around to comment.

And she’s 15 years older. (but sill looks great, IMO)
I liked her on Supergirl. She does have a somewhat artificial look about her though.

Could you send us a link to a picture of you so we can critique your looks? I bet you have bony knees.
This thread proves why most people shouldn’t have internet access. What a cesspool of idiots.

Its because 20% of her today was grown in a petri dish in a Chinese gulag.

The quality of Chimera’s reply perfectly matches the irrelevance of my post as well as that of the thread as a whole. So let’s all move on.
