Fucking idiot coronavirus-loving rednecks in Michigan

It would be wildly inappropriate, but the thought crossed my mind of starting a pool about how many of these yahoos would a) show up for an “armed insurrection,” and b) actually participate. Especially if confronted by real, live police.

Don’t misunderstand me — one in either category would be entirely too many. But I have a feeling that when the rubber hits the road there wouldn’t be nearly as many as their fever-dreams contemplate.

Two words for you - Ruby Ridge.

Yeah, it’s a lot of grandstanding and dick-measuring with these types. They talk big, then are surprised when the police take them seriously. You come at them shooting and they will shoot back.

Quite frankly, I would like to see one of them brought up on assault charges for threats like that.

Seems like their secret Facebook groups aren’t so secret.

And they’re posting their actual real-live names??? :dubious: :smack:

I spelled this fucking petunia’s name wrong in the above post (stupid autocorrect), so I’m reposting his tantrum with the correct spelling so it’ll better show up in Google searches:
“Plain and simple she needs to eat lead and send a statement to the rest of the democrats that they are next." -James Greena of Fennville, Michigan

Anyone who finds Lendervedder’s List to be… interesting…
should probably keep a screen-shot or other copy. I would not be surprised if the mods here take down his post.

There are several news stories on the topic including some of the same quotes and names.

Funny how they don’t seem to give the slightest shit about the tyrant in the White House.

My “list” is simply copying and pasting quotes and names from the news story I linked to.

These poor darlings were posting threats online, they got busted by a reporter, and they have, as of now, still kept their Facebook profiles (with locations) fully public. Fuck 'em.

Did you know Facebook has a “Report Group” function? And that one of the reasons to report is “violence”?

I didn’t mean to suggest that I, myself, have any objection to your post. Not at all. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding there. Hope they get a shit-pile of charges piled on, perhaps including conspiracy.

If I read that article right, did I see that a few of them have already found some investigators a-knocking at their doors? If so, would be nice if someday we see some follow-up on that.

With any luck, the process will drag on long enough that the Orange Pardonator will be out of office before he can butt in and let them off.

Sorry, I think I was just preemptively making a case for not cornfielding my posts. Didn’t mean to come off as attacking you.

Am I the only one here who also sees a not-so-subtle misogynist bent to their rhetoric (if one can even call it that)?

What? Naw! Impossible. When Eric John Mayer of Bronson MI said, “I’m dying here a woman talking strategy is like a man explaining what its like to go through menopause. PLEASE."

That wasn’t sexist at all. That’s just BEING HONEST and stating facts, yessirree!

It’s more like ruberic.

You mean like ruberic’s cube? 'Cause they do seem to be blockheads.

I could have helped it. I chose not to.

There might be enough material to bring them up on state charges. They’re borderline threatening and inciting illegal activity, and I’m guessing Michigan has a few passages in the books that deal with that sort of thing.

Oh c’mon, he just wants to protect women and show how much he respects them!

Or something.

There are Federal laws against threating POTUS. Are there similar laws regarding state governors, specifically, in Michigan?

Sure, but all the faces are white.

Well, they’re debating about the idea of banning guns from the capitol. Like most civilized people I recoiled in horror at the sight of these “Ted Nugent cosplayers” (thanks, SNL) bringing their phallic surrogates into the sacred halls of Democracy and had that moment where the old refrain of “there oughta be a law” ran through my head.

Now, after a little sober reflection, I’m not so sure. You see, I remembered the eighties when the extreme left was burning flags. And it’s kind of the same thing. You exercise a fundamental right in a manner so outrageous that you provoke an over-reactive response, thereby enabling you to play the victim and whine about “oppression”. There were even people back then who wanted to amend the Constitution to outlaw flag burning. But by and large, we didn’t fall for it then and we shouldn’t fall for it now.
