Answer: HDTV - Sony is using quantum dots in their new models (Triluminos I think they call it). But they’ve switched to local dimming edge lighting with LED’s. Even so, the sets are still few grand for the starting models I think. But the light engine on my old SXRD project model is starting to get the same greenish tint it did before it died last time. Tick-tock.
