The first time Mrs. Burpo met my 2nd pet rabbit, he thought she had a treat (rabbits don’t see too well when something’s right in front of their noses), and bit her on the thumb. Some blood. Some panic. The bun was fine.

Meeting the Queen; unlikely to happen in the next year, but you never know.

Attorney General of the United States Robert F. Kennedy, when I was going to school he drove through my hometown, and shook hands with the kids and anyone else.

Ooo, that’s a toughie. I’d have to say the Beatles (with the Electric Light Orchestra, Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, Mike + The Mechanics, Asia and several others near the top).

What is the sneakiest way you`ve wrapped up a gift for someone?
I gave my daughter a cute little Thelwell pony figurine as her “big” present. Then we all went out to the barn to give the horses their hay…and to see her new real pony. 
What’s the worst gift you’ve received that you had to wear in public or display in your home?
A teddy bear made out of my dead grandma’s clothes.
What’s the most valuable gift you’ve received that you never used?
An antique vase that just sat on the shelf, gathering dust, until I gave it to a local museum on longterm loan.
What’s your favorite holiday treat?
Fruitcake. The denser the better.
Which version of The Christmas Carol is your favorite?
(1951). George C. Scott’s is the better movie, but Alastair Sim IS Scrooge.
Describe YOUR fudge!
Madame P. and I make fudge for presents for Christmas every year. This year it was chocolate, black walnut, and orange chocolate fudge. People beg us to make this through the rest of the year, but we save it for Christmas. We use four or five types of chocolate, and it disappears way too fast!
