Last night I watched all the episodes up to now on demand. What does it say about me that I felt worse for Lady than I did for Bran?
I’ve just tried and HBOgo works for me. Now all I need to do is decide whether or not to watch it.
Well, Bran’s still alive, even if he’s crippled. Of course, he’s human & Lady was a wolf!
The reaction reminds me of Mad Men, when the children of Duck Phillips, account exec & recovering alcoholic, inform him that their divorced mother is remarrying & her intended is allergic to dogs. Therefore, they leave their Irish setter in the office after a visit. Will the doggie’s big brown eyes cause Duck to fall off the wagon? To avoid trouble, Duck chases the dog out the building’s door, into the NYC night…
Dumping that dog caused more angry complaints than any of the rotten things the Mad Men & Women had done to each other. (Don’t worry–“Lady” is OK.)

Just for the record. the episode that aired on HBO tonight is called “A Golden Crown” (and what a beautiful crown it was).
Viserys was not very bright if he thought he could threaten to kill Drogo’s baby in the womb like that and then continue to even walk around, much less get rewarded. Such a satisfying scen.
I liked Tyrion in the trial scenes too.
Really, HBO should have prepared for the onslaught. It’s for the better, though. I gotta go to bed. I’m up at 5:30 tomorrow.
That was fucking epic. I am totally blown away right now. Easily the best episode of the season.
