OMFG, I did it! I finished my online Physics assignment with like 13 minutes to spare before the due time (11:59 Thursday)! And I got an 85% in spite of the fact that I have NO IDEA what I’m doing!

For Spring Break, I was gonna make plans to drive up to New Jersey, three hours from my house, to meet a friend from my old WoW guild who I’ve never met irl… But they are gonna be out of town the 19th to 24th, and my break is the 14th through 22nd, and because they already asked off work to take care of their business, they can’t ask off for a couple days when our schedules overlap in order to get together. Dammit, now I have no plans. Again.

Moonie, when The Hordie found out that Supermegaboss is a University professor, he looked her up. His conclusion? “AH! Of course! She teaches Design. Design teachers live in their own little parallel universe, I swear.” Thermo teachers live in a different pocket universe of their own, too, and it’s a closed system.
Supermegaboss is the person who designed The Monster for which I am one of a dozen world-wide experts (what with it having been created, or rather miscreated, in and for my tomorrow-ex-client). One of the things that Sheboss and some other people refused to believe when I told them was “in order to create a complete Project structure, we need to fill about 60 tables; add another 60 or so to be able to do anything to the Project.” The Boy has been trying to fill in the 5 tables which define a Project structure. So far he’s filled in 40 tables and still doesn’t have all the data that has to go into the first of the Famous Five 
Gee, I can count after all! Oh, about half of those tables have 2 fields or less. And this woman teaches how to design computer programs and databases. Booyah!

On the plus side, all of it beats bein’ at work and I am gettin’ taken out for dindin tonight. I don’t know where yet but no matter. After all I ain’t payin’. Well, I suppose I shall have to pay by showin’ “appreciation” later but ya know, that’s never been a real problem.

I am now INTENSELY curious. A project nicknamed The Monster which is maintained my an elite carde of experts and which (if my interpretation of your description is correct) is utterly staggering in its size and complexity? Tell me, at what point does James Bond show up and start wrecking things?
Also, my Thermodynamics professor is most definitely an OPEN system. All our questions simply go in one ear and out the other, with no useful work output save the increase in pressure we all feel, which inis proportional to the density of her skull and the flow rate of hot air coming out of her mouth.
Seconding all assertations of “blurf”. Was up til 3AM doing HW and reading, then insomnia kept me up another three hours. Got maybe two hours sleep. Gah… I feel like bad.
