Yip, it’s the promised counterpart to this thread. I think it will give some interesting data to go along with that thread. And, no, I have no desire to convert anyone.
Question: would you rather have sex with a very unattractive and dull/annoying person of your preferred sex or a very attractive and/or cool/interetsing person of the other sex. Assume the other person is completely willing and turned on by you.
And, yes, sex means any and all sexual activities you normally participate in, including making out before or after.
Ok, I wouldn’t rather die . . . but there are some guys who qualify as "ugly, annoying, and unpleasant, and yet are still kind of interesting to be with. But if you’re referring to the Elephant Man with a repulsive personality and halitosis . . . then I guess I’d have to sleep with the girl. But if we’re gonna have sex, I’ll need a photo of Hugh Laurie on the headboard.
Actually, considering the current state of my sexuality . . . there’s only one thing we could actually do, and I’d just have to close my eyes and imagine she’s someone else.
I’ve had sex with my share of ugly/unpleasant guys, and I’ve turned down offers from sexy funny girls, so I guess I would choose the guy. I would close my eyes or do it in the dark.
The kissing a girl I could handle, done that before. Hell, I made out with a lesbian friend because we wanted to see who was better at it. I really don’t think I could handle actual sex though. So I’d probably go with the guy.
I chose Lesbian- I’d rather sleep with the ugly, annoying and unpleasant girl. When I was younger I might have chosen to try the good looking guy… but the very thought of that gives me the willies now. shudder
Lesbian, and I would probably go for the girl mainly because of the risk of pregnancy with the guy.
I don’t think the question is quite the same as in the other thread though, because quite a lot of gay people have slept with someone of the opposite sex before.
I thought about the pregnancy thing too. There is no way I want to be responsible for a pregnancy. (I consider no chance of accidental kids a perk of being gay). Before I’d even consider sex with the girl as a viable choice, I’d need 100% assurance that there was no possibility of pregnancy.
Yes, but oral sex - presuming it’s both of you giving and receiving - is, to me, a lot more intimate and disgusting if those genitals belong to the wrong gender.
Wow. I thought the Dope would be better represented than average amongst the gay population. But it seems we have the same 10% non-straight people, and almost half of them are bi, and only 1 lesbian. Here’s hoping some more people come in so we can get more data.
Well, that’s obvious, too, so pick the last option.
