That’s not the comparable question, because your OP didn’t say anything about distinguishing why gay men might abstain from anal sex other than specifying that you were asking about men who were in fact sexually active with other men. I’m sure there are some gay men who abstain from anal sex for medical reasons rather than a lack of interest.
One medical reason (regardless of orientation) would be Erectile Dysfunction. It’s very unlikely that a limp penis would be able to penetrate either a vagina or an anus. That’s when you’re very grateful that your partner has a mouth . . . and knows how to use it.
And I should also add that there are men (both gay and non-gay) who’d say their partner’s mouth can give them more pleasure than any other “part B.”
