OK, this shit always cracks me up. There always seems to be a handful of posters on the SDMB at any given time who espouse this view of themselves.
They don’t bother to follow the few rather simple rules we have here on the SDMB and get a slap on the wrist by a mod. All of a sudden they think of themselves as some kind of loose cannon, a wild rebel, someone who The Man (that would be us mods) is trying to shutdown because he or she represents a threat to our apparently sheltered way of thinking.

Alphagene, I know you are a very busy moderator;) and only had time to read a few lines of my post that you quoted from, but as a result you completely misread the entire nature of my comment. The political correctness I was referring to was not about you or moderators. Its those whining respondants whose lives are disrupted because I posted in the wrong forum. If you had read on, you will have notice that I specifically disavowed any blame to Coldfire.
That just isn’t true. I have never insulted a moderator for how they do there job. I have returned insults to SDers who were notwearing their moderator hats.

To all the Dutch (and as a bit of a hijack, i guess) Just to clarify, i’m not actually “Dutch”. My family, on the other hand is, my Grandmother being a War Bride. We are all still very close with our Dutch Relitives and visit the Netherlands when ever possible.
I was born in Canada -as was my Father- and i am offically Canadian, but since my first trip to the Home Country (Friesland) i’ve felt more like a Dutchman visiting Canada then a Canadian visiting the Netherlands. I’m very proud of my heritage and the Nation i consider to be my home away from home and i can’t stand people speaking ill of it.
