I just now spotted one that’s been there for 8 days. I’d missed it until now. My brain was shutting out that area of the page.
You know like it does with warning signs on walls. And no-smoking signs. We’re so used to seeing them that our brain blocks them out.
I miss the majority of announcements and stickies because when I load the Dope, I go directly to the “new posts” link. I rarely go into the individual forums where all those important things reside.
Announcements are at the top of every forum page, that’s where vB puts them.
Perhaps you should add in to your routine to look at one forum page every day or so.
