Genre Fiction Mafia

Astral’s votes were for Gnarly, TexCat, and Silver Jan - not much to go on there.

Also, this just in:

We bagged us a roleblocker.

That explains why Astral was Nightkilled; the ALE drinkers have lost the player who was keeping Astral under wraps.

Since I survived the Night, not entirely to my surprise, I mean to try and assemble a list of claims and claimed actions sometime Today. That might be interesting.

I am not surprised in the slightest to find Silver Jan as the roleblocker; I think I’d have gotten bussing interest otherwise, at least by somebody, somewhere.

MHaye, there’s really not much to report. Taking all claims as accurate, Inner Stickler (paranoid doc) targeted Astral, Mahaloth (redirected from SisC), and Mahaloth. Mahaloth used his nexus power on night two, did not use his sacrificial power last night, rest unknown. Mahaloth was investigated as town by Astral on night two. Fluiddruid found nothing on Astral, a bomb on Mahaloth, and none on Silver Jan. And Tom checked out fubbleskag (one-shot vig IIRC, as claimed), Mahaloth (no result), gnarlycharlie (vanilla) and Silver Jan (roleblocker).

Tentative
vote: Nesta
for her voting record, which after being the first vote on fubbleskag on day one, has consisted of late-bandwagon times three. I haven’t actually looked at her posts yet, though. And I’d also like to ask Zeriel why he considered lynching Astral post-claim day one because he might be a survivor, when that is what Zeriel claims himself.

I didn’t. I considered lynching him because he might have been PFK. I also mentioned the possibility of him having a survivor-type wincon, although I didn’t think that was terribly likely.

That’s not how I remember you putting it, but I will look it up again tomorrow.

I notice I’m still alive, despite allegedly having a bomb planted on me.

Why wouldn’t you be? When the number of bombed players is equal to or greater than the number of unbombed players, the mad bomber wins. This goal would be hard to achieve if the bombed players kept dying all over the place.

Last night I targeted Winston because frankly, I think he’s scum. I was successful in targeting him but unsuccessful in preventing the NK.

Allegedly, Mahaloth? Are you saying something about fluiddruid?

I sort of agree with Normal Phase about nesta, but when I review nesta’s posts, she seems on-topic and town-ish. But I have been wrong every time so far, so maybe I should vote for her anyway.

SisterCoyote hasn’t been posting much either. Since she got called for fluff on Day 1, she hasn’t said much at all. She didn’t have any comment on Silver Jan either. It’s hard to make cases on people who don’t say anything, but I think maybe she is laying low.

Nah, I guess I just don’t follow how mad bombers work. I guess it figures that I have a bomb on me. I just keep waiting to blow up.

So it looks like neither MHaye or Winston did the NK last Night.

I don’t want to get into it, but something happened at Night that indicated to me that MHaye didn’t do the NK. He may be scum, though.

I think he’s referring to the scum not having killed him; as a mad bomber tag and a power role to boot (not to mention Astral’s scan), the scum should have multiple reasons to get him out of the way, yet they didn’t (yet).

Considering who they did kill instead, I don’t think this is very surprising, though, and too early to consider it saying anything about fluid.

We don’t know that’s how the bomber role works in this game. In Glasnost mafia (an open game), Red used this role:

NETA: Never mind, then.

To expand on what Tom said, most of the time I see a mad bomber, the bombs are purely color until a majority of surviving players are bombed, at which point the bomber wins.

Actually, the role I mentioned was a modified serial killer instead of a mad bomber as you & inner described. Not sure about that now, though; if the role I quoted was in this game, I would have expected him or her to have wired up Fluid on Night 3 and then set off the bombs on Night 4.

That was Inner; Tom said something quite different.

NETA again: That was @ Zeriel (and the previous NETA @ Mahaloth). Too tired, too slow.

Three games may have been too much for me. I missed yesterDay End. no excuses; I just missed it.

I am, however, comfortable with the vote I laid down yesterday and am going to put it back:

Vote: Winston for being just a little too quick to vote for someone he thought he’d found a good “scum” tell on.

That was your fault, was it?

Did you claim, MHaye? I can’t find one from you.
