And I mean what physical location do you occupy when you are engaged in the act of shaving, not what bits of your anatomy you choose to denude.
For the purposes of this poll, let’s assume that shaving refers to face only.
I used to be a confirmed sink-shaver until I realised that shaving in the shower is a lot easier and less messy, so I switched over. I use foam and a razor rather than an electric shaver, so it wasn’t a difficult switch. I’m curious how many people continue to shave at the sink, or elsewhere.
Poll coming. This inability to post polls along with posts is vexing.
I’ve always used an electric razor since I was 14 and first started needing one. Never used a straight razor once (which gave my platoon sergeant in the Army a bit of consternation, apparently everyone must use straight razors in the army, as the enemy would hear an electric razor. shrug) I usually shave over the sink, but I empty the razor into the toilet so that the sink doesn’t get eventually clogged and no shavings are left in the sink. If we had our own sink, I might just do everything sink-side.
Sink. I like being able to see where I’m shaving, and I really don’t want to risk a serious de-staching or de-bearding. Cleaning up the shaving scum afterward is worth making sure I’m nicely sculpted.
