Is it really a nitpick when one wrong word can mean sleeping on the couch? 
I imagine it’s much easier to divine intentions between partners as opposed to people on a message board. Your girlfriend might get what you say (which is all that really matters) when posters read something different.

My sister in law was, throughout most of her life, flat as a board. It didn’t stop her breastfeeding her 3 children for a year each - there was plenty of milk-producing tissue - but she was just as flat as she could be. And my brother never. let. up. teasing. her. God, I’d have flattened him for it, if it was me. I wouldn’t have put up with that for a second, much less for years on end. But the worst thing for her was being unable to find clothes that fit properly unless she shopped in the children’s section. Finally, after she was done feeding her last baby, she had small implants put in, and she finally looks proper in women’s clothes. But of course my brother feels obligated to point out to everyone that she’s got implants. He really is stupid about some things.
Didn’t her boobs get bigger when she was pregnant/nursing? I heard some women get HUGE during that period of time.
It would be accurate to say that she had breasts while pregnant and nursing. And then when she was not pregnant/not nursing, she did not.
But yes, some women get excessive boobage during pregnancy/breastfeeding. I did (well, 38DD was ‘excessive’ for me at 4’10") Thank goodness it goes away for me. I wouldn’t want to be like that all the time.
