Don’t you think that if I wanted to hold off your challenge, I’d just bump 20 random threads a day? (I’ve never “bumped” any threads, for the record) Or post to every damned post party and birthday thread here? Or ask 10 questions of every “Ask the whozis” thread? Remember, age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.

A few come to mind right now. First is Shayna, for her Wally death thread and her smoke-out thread. Second is Boo Boo for his “Check-in for all Female Newbies” thread. Third is the dopeville thread. Fourth is the “weird things while being intimate/lovemaking.”

I’ve had a few threads, and I don’t think any of them have exceeded 30 responses. The one that was above 20 was for Falcon, anyway. And I think we would all agree I am not a troll.

Do a search and check out a thread called “guy stuff”. I wasn’t on the board when it was going on, but it was EXTREMELY long and might have exceeded the number of replies for all the threads you mention above combined.
The Star Destroyer vs. Enterprise thread was also very long.
Truthfully, I’m kind of embarrassed about my ranking.

Grace e-mails me about twice as frequently as you. I decline to compare relative quality. Scotticher and Medea’s child send me long and interesting e-mails, though for the record your last one was the longest I’ve ever gotten.

As to longest thread, I believe that the record actually goes to an ATMB thread, the Master List, started by Chrome Toaster, which was eventually closed because it was pretty much larger than the rest of the forum combined. It reached 9 pages and got 447 replies. Meanwhile, its daughter thread, Master List redux, started by beatle, added another 2 pages and 60 replies.
Well, Bill H., I have to congratulate you, from one obsessive-compulsive type to another. I had actually considered doing something like this in the past, but never actually had enough time. Well, now we have yet another means to establish meaningless heirarchies! On the topic of the longest threads, some of you who are doing the nominating are new, and so don’t remember UncleBeer’s legendary Guy Stuff thread. (Hey admins! When are the archives going back up?) But going down those lists sure made me nostalgic for some MIA posters. Whatever happened to AzRaek? What’s Pixoid been up to? How about Dewaholic and SINSapple? Or Chrome Toaster? I noticed tipiwoo and okatym pop back up recently, but they seem to have left this little section of cyberspace once more.
