I spent about 15 minutes trying to log onto a website by typing in the url in IE’s address bar but it never got past the “loading” screen. When using the same procedure on Google Chrome, the webpage loaded fine. Also when using IE and doing a Google search for the website’s URL and clicking the link provided (which was exactly the same as the url I was putting in the address bar) the website also loaded.
Anyone got an explanation for this? I don’t think I’ve ever come across something like this and it made me late for my online class.
Oh I’m using XP if that matters.
