Yeah, that is an old gag.
So the number of Livings who know about Sam’s ability to see the Ghosts is now, by my estimate, three: Kyle, Bela, and now Mark. I wonder if this is going to open up the show to Mark and the Ghosts getting into shenanigans involving each other. Having Thor manipulate the lights as proof of the Ghosts’ existence was a … choice. I think it would have been way funnier if Jay had made Flower walk through Mark and get him high, or have Isaac walk through him and make the whole room smell of fart. Or have Trevor poke him in the weiner.
I was disappointed that Pete talking things over with the ghost at the mayor’s house took place off-screen. Maybe they filmed it and it wound up on the cutting room floor. Or maybe it was always going to take place off-screen - you know, save money on sets and actors and all that.
Pete’s declaration that “Woodstone is saved!” just struck me as premature. Yes, the mayor’s money is going to help, but there are a few episodes left in the season, and it seems early that they’re going to abandon the Woodstone-is-threatened plotline.
Finally, did anyone notice Crash in the barn scene where all the ghosts were voting? Kind of a nice touch, having all Ghosts (house, shed, basement, bunker, etc.) in the same place at the same time. Though I didn’t see Stephanie (80s teen girl murder victim) there.
I’m thinking really hard here, and I don’t think Alison’s ability to see Ghosts was ever revealed to anyone besides Mike in the British version.
Yeah, I saw Crash, as well, and also didn’t see Stephanie.
I doubt that, the mayor is obviously- to me- skeevy- and he will try to take over/sell the House.
If the mayor tries to takeover Woodstone Manor, perhaps the ghost Pete met at his house will provide them with blackmail material they can use to shut him down. I think the UK program had something similar, where the ghosts provided information on the next-door neighbors.
I may have heard it wrong but I thought I heard someone say something about “selling a majority share” (to the mayor.) Please tell me I’m wrong. That would be worse than, say, posting something to Instagram for a few likes. Oh, wait…
That makes sense.
Sadly, you are not wrong.
Of course, since the tax issues are only two years old? IIRC, the IRS wouldnt be interested yet, and since it would be wages- there would be withholding. Maybe it was trading profits? In that case, stock trades need a basis for any profits, so all they really need to do is hire a good CPA or EA who will backfile the returns, and they wont owe that much.
Kylie Minogue and her assistant.
