Conceding the point that there is a legitimate gripe with regards to insensitive language or rude threads on occasion do you really want to dance for the entertainment and snark mining expeditions of vocal minority who cross post yet hold the moderators, admins, and posters here in contempt?
Is there really a mystery when mods here engage with posters there about the behavior and motivations of the same group of people over a period of years? It’s a different board and I’m not saying anything can be done but at least understand the motivations and goals of the players. It’s a long game some of them are playing to manipulate the environment here to mirror the environment there.
Want context? There are literally thousands of posts of context demonstrating the contempt. Are you really sure they have the best interests of this board in mind? Furthermore, this asymmetrical situation where they can discuss methods to exploit divisions but a direct link to the posts is frowned upon is not to anyone’s advantage here. With the obvious exceptions of those who are active in snark.

Because I don’t care what you all do until it impacts me and many others here. Once it reaches that point it makes sense to remind the mods that the same people that hold them in contempt there are lobbying exceedingly persistently here to be more like there. Context matters as I have been reminded over and over. I guess I need to understand context only matters when it’s convenient?
What you need to understand is to how to make a coherent argument. If you say nonsensical bullshit, be prepared to be called out for it. And when you are, try and learn from it rather than digging in on your nonsense.
