I have not. LNO has accused me of making threats. I have not. All I’ve done was call bullshit on some really sketchy posts, not realizing that you can’t do that in this forum. Why you all would unquestioningly believe everything is beyond me, since you demand proof everywhere else around here. But whatever. I try and defend myself, and people show up with nothing to add but hilarious insults. I actually tried to search for a Fenris post that had actual factual merit, and wasn’t solely him trying desperately to be funny and / or attacking other people and got sick of looking after a couple hundred or so. Okay. Here’s the explanation: When something that is posted is clearly anecdotal, what “proof” could someone possibly provide? If I tell you I had Frosted Flakes for breakfast, what could I possibly do to “prove” that? Beyond the issue of whether proof is (practically speaking) possible, why should we have to prove every little personal thing we say? Beyond that, proof cuts both ways: If your position (“calling bullshit”) essentially amounts to calling someone a liar – something many people around here, me included, take very seriously – then you have the burden of proving that the statement made is not truthful. If you can’t prove, or even successfully argue, that someone is lying, then you should not call them a liar. Because it’s beyond rude. What is so hard about this? Really, I can’t imagine why something so obvious would be beyond you.
