I follow a boatload of people on Twitter - not on a phone, but on my computer. I check in once or twice a day just to see what’s going on out there.
So I follow Daniel Negreanu. He has been playing high stakes games on PokerStars. How is that possible, given that he lives in Las Vegas, and the UEIGA (or however it is spelled)?
Oslo, just opened PS and found Negreanu playing the WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker). The mouseover indicates he is indeed playing from Canada.
My Stars app on my desktop works fine. I tried to fire it up on my netbook, got a message telling me there was a problem with an update and to go to pokerstars.com and re-download the installer, went there and got a message telling me that the domain had been seized by the feds, no download available.
I guess if I want to use the netbook, I have to download from pokerstars.net.
Maybe I can trick them using a flash drive.
Anyway, gonna watch KidPoker kick ass for a while.
Now having the same download issue on the desktop - not available from pokerstars.com. I have a sick feeling that eventually I’ll have to upgrade from pokerstars.net and all hell will break loose.
