Drain Bead will be lynched.

Welcome to day 3.

Hmm, No one died last night. Also, only half of you voted at all, let alone 2/3s.

So today will end on March 8th at 7pm.

Also, today’s hammer is 11.

Well, that’s all kinds of awesome. I’d guess they went for Mental Guy. I’ll trade no investigations for no deaths any day of the week.

And my investigation was not successful, so I think they did target me last Night.

Yay, the jailer isn’t AWOL.

Good.

I still think Idle is playing the most scummy. Have for awhile. I can explain it again, but see no need.

Vote Idle

Could you try anyway? We have more information today than we did on Day 1, anything new or updated you could point to?

Sure I can explain again.

Idle has laid low, which is scummy. He snuck in on Day One and put his vote on me for one reason. I was the 2nd to vote a player. While this was a Day One vote, he never moved that vote when other, I think, scummier players came along. In fact, he laid so low, he was practically silent. It’s not a lynch the lurker kind of thing, it’s a lynch the guy who just jumped in, placed a lame vote, then jumped out.

I’ve had my vote on him for awhile, even before Drain was exposed yesterDay. As always, I’ll move it when someone scummier comes along.

But since I still suspect him, no reason to not place my vote on him right away. I can always change it.

Fair enough. Do you then believe he lied about being the recipient of a message saying that scum tried to recruit him?

NOTE: I’ve already posted my vague suspicions on this count. I’m also on the fence about whether he’s on the level or not about that. But, I’m curious how it affects your judgement of him.

Great news on the Night actions front, and major Kudos to our Jailer for being one step ahead of the Scum for the second Night in a row…Of course, it does mean no additional information to glean from overnight, but I’ll take that trade-off 10 times out of 10.

I’ve still got pretty much all of Day 2 to reread now that I’m feeling more or less human again (both my boss and his boss are currently out with pneumonia, so all-in-all I think I got lucky); hopefully I’ll be able to be back before bedtime with some thoughts.

Am I missing something? If he is scum, then he surely lied about the message.

I understand voting for Idle but I am still suspicious of Mahaloth for jumping on a lot of what were (to me) innocent statements, and for the way he reacted to questions about his vote for Wolverine on day one.

For now:

Vote Mahaloth.

Yes.

I didn’t jump on innocent statements. We still don’t know if Wolverine is innocent. He certainly doesn’t top my list anymore, but for a Day One vote(which was not my final Day One vote), it wasn’t bad. I did not react poorly or suspiciously to any questions about my vote either.

Your case on me is nothing.

I think what Astral was implying, and with which I happen to agree, is that Scum choosing to forgo a chance at waking a Sleeper by not sending a message and having a scummy Idle lie about receiving it can be seen as unlikely gambit in general. Especially in the beginning of the game.

The only real benefit I can see it would get them is possible townie cred for Idle, and that doesn’t seem like a good trade compared to a chance at their Sleeper.

Idle should have been counter-claimed if a Sleeper message was sent to someone else.

Wow, I did not think that, through. I guess it is a very, very risky move for scum and I have to at least consider that it would be unlikely for them to do.

For now, I **unvote Idle
**
I still think he has played an otherwise incredibly scummy game, though.

i gotta agree with cookies. especially with the fact that they were down a body, and an rb to boot at the end of Day 1. i would think that they would have a sense of urgency to shore up their ranks, so to speak.

I am free to go meta since I don’t think he is scum for better reasons  He played a lot like that in the Hotel of Heros game, and I thought he was scummy, helped to lynch him and was dead wrong.
