Glass Harp National tour - are you into it?

I’m related to someone who is part of the Glass Harp ‘machine’. The band was considering a national tour but have now put it off indefinitely.

My question to you guys is anyone actually interested in Glass Harp? Personally I’m not a fan (short attention span!) but the people that like Glass Harp LOVE THEM. They think Phil Keaggy is some sort of god (and perhaps he is). Talk about fanatics…

Do they only get this kind of praise from folks in Ohio? How popular are they amongst the SD crowd? Would you pay $10-20 to see them if they came to your town?

Have you bought their new album? Did you know they have a new album? Did you know Phil played on the latest POD album?

Sorry if this seems like some sort of solicitation poll. It’s not, really. I am just amazed by local craziness over the band and wondered how far it spread.

I’m a fan (of Phil Keaggy and Glass Harp both), but not a fanatic.

But then again, I’m from Cleveland, so I guess that doesn’t help you gauge the out-of-Ohio support! :smiley:

Same boat as MisterThyristor, another Cleveland area fan. Keaggy at the civic theater is one of my all time favorite concert memorys (dang that man can play). I have no clue as to their out of Ohio viability but wish them luck and commend anyone out there who appreciates great guitar rock to catch them if they are in your area.
