They were so fucking obnoxious last time. And that was out in sunny Delray, so I have no idea what the concentration will be in DC proper. Though probably none of them will stay in the city, because urban=black=dangerous. They seem to stay in the Crystal City Hotels, and for some reason the cab drivers or concierges tell them how wonderful Mount Vernon Avenue is. Boo.
Clothahump is the embodiment of Poe’s Law. But yes, he is serious, unless it’s the longest-running and most brilliant piece of satire in the history of this board.
I strongly suspect that this will be about how everyone but Beck has lost their honor, and that we can get it back by doing the things that Beck has been telling us to do.

Last night on The Daily Show, John Stewart showed a lot of Glenn Beck clips – including several where Beck says he really, really hates Woodrow Wilson.
Why would Beck, or anybody else, hate Woodrow Wilson?

I don’t know why Glenn Beck doesn’t like Woodrow Wilson, but I don’t like him because he was death on free speech during WWI.
I think one of the big reasons is that the Federal Reserve and the federal income tax came into being during his administration.
There is a difference between being racist (which makes you a bit of a scumbag) and making an issue of race (which MIGHT make you a scumbag or might make you sensitive to the racial history of this country).
Perhaps because he defeated two Republicans (Taft and Hughes) and a former Republican (Roosevelt). Of course, by Beck’s standards, all three of those gentlemen were progressive, but he may be just going by the party identification.
OMIGOD! Thank you, Glenn Beck, for pointing that out! I had no idea, but now I’ve seen the light, o yes. But it was just so incredibly hard to find, that sneaky, sneaky racism, I wouldn’t even have known to look for it without the help of my friend, Glenn Beck.

The rally’s tomorrow. If you do a Google search for Lincoln Memorial, you’ll find that they changed the directions to put you at the distant FDR memorial.
Wait a second, who changed what directions?
Google maps is definitely fucked up at the moment. I just did it, and their pin is pointing at the FDR memorial, with links for the FDR memorial at the side.
Fortunately, anyone with more than one brain cell will notice that, and will notice that the actual (correctly labelled) Lincoln memorial is slightly to the northwest.
So…you expect Beck’s fans to get lost?

I just learned that Glenn Beck is a Mormon (on Wiki). This blows my mind. . . I thought Mormons were nice :(.
I suspect lefties will suddenly have no problem with corporate personhood or corporate free speech.

I seem to recall previous discussions on the board in which ex-Mormons asserted that the nice behavior is mostly a facade.
