Melandry, your card from Rome arrived the day before yesterday. My daughter was SO excited and immediately had to show everyone her “real postcard from another country”.
Fairy Chat Mom and Captain, thanks again for your other cards too.
This was such a great idea! My daughter is thrilled and is also papering her walls like lauramarlane’s son.
My boy has been having so much fun with this – he’s loving checking the mail every day. He’s mentioned it to others in casual conversation (like, “Oh, I have a friend who lives in Maryland too…”)
Are the kids still getting postcards?
How many postcards have they received?
Do your kids want to keep getting postcards? (I can probably identify your kids from your user name.)
I wrote a bunch last night, will mail them tomorrow. (I’m assuming none of the little rascals will notice – or care – that the Chattanooga postcards have Philly postmarks.)
Sending mine off today or tomorrow. Apologies for the slack response but I’ve been busy, and thanks again to EVERYONE responsible for the ten cards my young bloke got.
Every other day, there’s been something waiting for him in our letterbox. Of course, now I’m trying to explain to him that this isn’t going to last forever…
