Gmail - Can't log in

So I have at least one (or two) gmail addresses. One, I don’t remember because I had a stuck key on my keyboard and I don’t remember how many of a certain letter there was in the username. The other username is in my Keychain Access.

So if I go to gmail, I get this:

There’s no login; only ‘Add Gmail to your Google Account’. So is the other address (other addresses) gone? Why is there no option to log in?

OK, so by actually googling ‘gmail’ I can get to me. But I don’t see an inbox or any other mail related thing.

OK, it looks like I’m in.

As I said last night, I found myself on my profile page. Not sure how. I clicked on the little grid in the corner that turned out to be the Apps icon, and clicked on the big, colourful Gmail ‘M’. That took me back to where I posted in the OP.

After a bit more searching I found instructions that said to go to Personal info => Contact info => Google email account. The address was my primary one. I tried entering my @gmail address and password. The password didn’t work, so I reset it. Now I can get to my mail. I’ve updated the bookmark on my Favourites bar.

Now I’m going to log out to see if I can get back in.

Well, I thought I’d check gmail. I went to Personal info => Contact info => Google email account. I click on my email address [not gmail, but my primary email address that is my account on gmail] and I get this:

How do I get to my inbox? Why is it so difficult to use gmail?

I tried to open Gmail from the Google home page from the Gmail link on the top of the page. I got the sign in with your new Gmail address thing too. This was despite the fact I was already signed into Google which required my Gmail address. I didn’t want a new Gmail address and I couldn’t figure out how to otherwise open my current Gmail account. A few days later I opened the Google Apps link on the Google home page and noticed the Gmail link there. Clicked on it and my Gmail account opened no problems. Tried the other Gmail link on the home page, it now works as it should. I have no idea what happened.

I don’t see Google apps.

It’s the 9 dots on the top right of the Google home page.

I clicked on that, then clicked on Mail, and got the ‘Add Gmail to your Google Account’ page again/still.

Bump, because I can’t get to my inbox. I’m getting the same page as in the OP.
