Go 'HEELS!

WHAT a GAME! Felton’s well on his way to redeeming himself from the mumbledribblemumble, and of course May was marvellous. But WHAT a GAME! Edge-of-the-seat, nail-biting, hair-pulling, squeezing-a-win in the last, what, twenty seconds on the clock? Jesus Christ, what a roller coaster!

YESSSSSSSSS!

I only caught the last part of the game, because it was a gorgeous day and just too nice to be inside. I thought Carolina was going to lose, but they pulled it off. Woohoo!!

On the down side, we’ll probably have riots on Franklin Street tonight. I hope they don’t burn any cars this time. They’re already setting bonfires, but there’s a lot of security, so maybe it won’t get out of control.

I bet Coach K is mad!!!

This has to be the best rivalry in basketball. I loved the intensity that both teams played with. Since I am not a follower of either team, it is great to enjoy the game as a fan of basketball. Congrats to the Tar Heels, although there win will probably be overshadowed by Ohio State knocking off Illinios with a three-pointer with about five seconds to play. GO BUCKS!!!

That last five minutes of game time was insane. Hell, the last forty seconds of game time was insane! (My family’s been UNC alumni for ~200 years, so this game is always a Really Big Deal. :)) You can really feel that energy with the teams, too – I think this is one of my favorite parts of the season. All of that “GRRRR! ARRRR! TARHEEL SMASH!” YEAH!
