Don’t say what game, because there is Only One Game! I work in the building next to the Dean Dome, and the news trucks are already coming in (well, at least NBC17 is already here). Only 7 hours left!
Whether they win or lose, it’s gonna get crazy on Franklin Street tonight. I’ll be safe at home, far away from the madness. No smashing and burning for me tonight. And I got a cute little Carolina blue mini-basketball to play with while I’m watching the game. Even the sky is Carolina blue today!
'Eh, I barely have enough time to follow my Nets (damnit, 'Sixers! Give up that eighth spot already!), so I really don’t pay any attention to college ball.
The buzz around the office is that Carolina will take this one in a walk, however.
FCM, I’ll be watching for you! I have energy to spare! And my nifty little Carolina blue mini-basketball (from now on, I’ll call it my NLCBMBB for short), so I can throw it at the TV if things don’t go so well. Which isn’t going to happen.
No one really pays attention to what time I come in, so I can come in late. I’m sure a lot of people will be calling in sick tomorrow. And if a bonfire gets out of hand, this building could burn down, so I might not have a place to work tomorrow, anyway.
I’m such a fair weather fan, but I’m getting caught up in the spirit of things- even wearing the approved color. It’s really neat to walk around campus and see how much blue is out there. Count me as one of the luckies who can go in to work a little later in the morning.
Yeah, me too. I don’t care about sports usually. I do like basketball, but I only watch it if it’s a big game. Carolina vs Duke is usually good, unless UNC is having a bad year. Then it’s just depressing.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank You God! Happy Birthday Sean May! Jesus Christ, yes!
