Those programs are exploitative nonsense, cynically trading on a kid’s distress to get viewing figures.
I don’t care what adults freely choose to get involved with but this turns my stomach.

Thought about it, but that’s the Youtube title and how I found out about it at CNN.
IMO, it doesn’t take anything away from the moment and the power of her voice which absolutely stunning for any age.
She may have a technically very good voice but lots of people have. The only reason she was hand-picked to be on there is her age and her story, not her voice.
The way she sings is absolutely not to my taste. I’d pay good money not to have to listen to it.
