Well, that or Total Lost is a human member of the Scum team. There was at least one of those in ED1 (possibly two-- was the Bit-Part Actor human or demon?), and we haven’t seen any human Scum die yet.
Huh. So given that Wanderers was the scum investigator, that pretty well clears lilflower, doesn’t it? Unless lilflower has some kind of godfather power that can mess with Normal’s investigation.
She also could have the power as claimed, and still be scum. (I think. Don’t see anything in Town’s powers so far that would be gamebreaking for Scum to have one-shot access to, except possibly for McGinty’s bonus day/night kill.)
Yeah, but why would scum go for the investigative power? Especially an investigative power that only tells you whether the target is scum?
knew i’d made a mistake on the fake claim soon after I’d posted it. All it lacked was a line explaining the once each restriction, before getting them all again.
I don’t know, I think re-use was another flaw.
Basically I didn’t trust MrsMcGinty so I wanted to have her claim first to perhaps catch a lie ‘I set a trap but it didn’t go off becauses you protected’ but I don’t think that actual works out.
Some people played in character in Halloween Mafia Extravaganza* (some through mandatory post restrictions). But I’m simply not a good in character writer so I stopped after a couple of posts. In general it’s probably too much to expect from players but if you can I found it very entertaining in that game! It came even back in the closing color here as Normal Phase was constantly talking about THOSE MURDERING PEOPLE AT NIGHT in that game.

Heh, yeah, I meant to comment on that and managed to distract myself. Thanks for the shout-out, Story!
Posting in character was a ton of fun, but it was also really, REALLY hard (at least for me). It probably cut my post count in half all by itself, since it took serious time to compose even trivial posts. I’m not sure I’d have kept it up as much as I did if not for the post restriction, although in the end I’m glad I had that. Made it memorable.
I was suspicious enough of lilflower to take a lot of care in crafting my question regarding her – I really tried to pin Storyteller down to where the answer would leave no doubt, but he wouldn’t go for it. Originally I had asked something like “who used Idle’s borrowed power to investigate Total Lost on Night Four”?
