Does anyone know a decent webhosting (and domain registration package) service?
Low traffic, low bandwidth site for personal portfolio - looking for less than 20 bucks a month.
There’s Go Daddy, which looks like it has hosting for as low as $5.95 a month.
I don’t have any experience with them, though…

He can host you for cheap and probably point you in a good direction for domain name registration, etc.

onedollarhosting.com has been around a long long time…I saw them on a billboard in LA years ago & went with them this year. they are nice.

Since this will be a matter of opinion, I’ll move this thread to IMHO.
dixiesys.com. Something like $25/year. I host all my sites through them and haven’t had a problem with them. (They did physically move their servers once, causing a ~18 hour service disruption, but I don’t see this becoming a regular occurance.)
